Excitement Builds for 2023 Panini Select Football Release

The 2023 Panini Select Football is revving up for its summer release, just in time to kick off excitement ahead of the 2024 NFL training camps. This year’s edition promises to be a standout in Panini’s lineup, featuring a stunning 500-card base set divided into five distinct levels, ranging from the commonly seen Concourse to the rare and sought-after Field Level.

Starting with the Concourse Level, comprising cards #1 – 100, collectors can expect to come across the most common cards in this range. On the other end of the spectrum, the Field Level boasts cards #401 – 500, offering the most elusive finds in the set. As usual, collectors can hunt for coveted parallels like the Zebra and Disco variations, as well as the limited Tie-Dye parallels that add an extra layer of excitement to the collection.

One of the most anticipated features making a return in this year’s release is the XRC Mystery Redemption program. This fan-favorite element allows collectors the chance to snag some of the first licensed rookie cards from the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft class. The XRC cards will come in various versions, including Silver Prizm, low-numbered variants, and autographs, making them highly sought after by collectors.

In addition to the base set, the 2023 release of Panini Select Football will also feature a range of autographs and memorabilia cards. Collectors can look forward to pulling Jumbo Rookie Signature Swatches and Prime Selections Prizm Signatures Tie-Dye autograph memorabilia cards. Moreover, autographs from legendary players will be highlighted in the Spectra Hall of Fame Signatures Prizm series, adding another layer of prestige to the collection.

Exciting inserts are also making a comeback in this year’s collection. Fans can expect to see the return of popular inserts such as Starcade, Color Wheel, and Select Anniversary, complementing the aesthetic of the set and offering a variety of captivating cards for collectors to pursue.

For those looking to get their hands on this highly anticipated release, the hobby box configuration will include 5 cards per pack, 12 packs per box, and 12 boxes per case. Each box is expected to contain 2 autographs, 1 memorabilia card, 15 Prizm parallels, 6 inserts, and 2 Field Level base cards, providing collectors with a diverse selection of high-value cards to collect and enjoy.

With each hobby box estimated to retail at $450, collectors and NFL enthusiasts are gearing up to dive into the world of the 2023 Panini Select Football release. From snagging rare parallels to securing exclusive autographs and rookie cards, this year’s set promises to be a thrilling addition to any collection, capturing the essence of the upcoming NFL season and its iconic moments.
