Whatnot Rewards Club Enhances Buyer-Seller Interactions

Whatnot has unveiled its newest feature to revolutionize the buyer-seller dynamic – the Rewards Club. This innovative loyalty program is set to transform transactions and interactions between users, offering an array of perks and recognition along the way.

Rewards Club is a groundbreaking achievement-based loyalty initiative that caters to the needs of both buyers and sellers. It serves as a cohesive platform aimed at boosting seller business, tracking buyer engagements, and providing an assortment of rewards for active participants. The program is user-friendly, always accessible, and serves as a catalyst for fostering stronger connections between buyers and sellers, ultimately leading to more significant purchases.

One of the standout features of the Rewards Club is its customizable nature. Recognizing that each seller’s business is unique, the loyalty program is designed to be adaptable, allowing sellers to tailor their program to suit their specific community and business objectives.

The structure of the Rewards Club comprises five distinct tiers – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. To progress through each tier, users must achieve specific goals that are set by the seller. These achievements can range from the number of shows watched to purchases made or the total amount spent on the platform.

Members of the Rewards Club have the opportunity to earn a variety of rewards and benefits as they progress through the tiers. These incentives include status badges, coupons (ranging from dollar-based to percentage-based discounts and free shipping), and exclusive access to tier-specific events. Participation in the program is automatic upon the completion of the required achievements.

To keep the program engaging, Rewards Club undergoes seasonal resets every three months. This approach allows sellers to refine and optimize their offerings regularly, ensuring that the program remains dynamic and responsive to evolving needs. The seasonal schedule is structured to align with the four quarters of the year, providing sellers with a consistent framework for program adjustments:

– Winter: December, January, February

– Spring: March, April, May

– Summer: June, July, August

– Fall: September, October, November

The adaptability of the Rewards Club is emphasized through its customizable features. Sellers have the autonomy to set achievement thresholds and select rewards that best align with their strategic objectives and target audience.

Managing the tiers and achievements within the Rewards Club is a straightforward process. Sellers can initiate their program at any point during a season and make necessary adjustments at the end of each season. The beta testing phase for the Rewards Club is currently underway until August 31, with the official launch of Season 1 slated for September 1. During the beta testing phase, sellers have the flexibility to edit their tiers and cancel their program by contacting their designated Account Manager or Whatnot Support.

For sellers interested in getting started with the Rewards Club, there are specific requirements to fulfill, including processing a minimum of 50 non-giveaway orders, earning over $1,000 on Whatnot, maintaining a seller status for 30 days or longer, upholding a seller rating of 4.8 or higher, and avoiding any second offense in violation categories.

For buyers, joining a seller’s Rewards Club is automatic upon making a purchase on the platform. Coupons and rewards can be conveniently managed through the Rewards Club overview page, with a reminder that purchases made using coupons are final.

Achievements within the Rewards Club are tracked based on the total amount spent, inclusive of taxes and shipping fees. Discounts applied through coupons are not factored into the spending achievements, ensuring a fair and accurate reward system.

Members have the option to control the visibility of their Rewards Badges during live shows, allowing for privacy preferences to be respected. As the Rewards Club continues to evolve, Whatnot remains committed to assisting users with any inquiries or support they may require. Whether it’s questions about the program or general assistance, the support team is readily available to provide guidance and solutions.
