NSCC Charity Auction: 2024 Cleveland Area Charities Event

The National Sports Collectors Convention (NSCC) is gearing up for an exciting event that not only celebrates their 44th anniversary but also gives back to the community. In partnership with Pristine Auction, the NSCC is hosting a special charity auction during the 2024 convention to support three Cleveland area charities. This auction will showcase 44 exclusive items, including valuable sports collectibles and artworks, with a specific aim of raising funds for those in need.

The charity auction is scheduled to take place from July 20 to July 27, 2024, offering a week-long opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts to bid on unique items. Those interested in participating can access the auction through a designated link and even view select items in person at the convention. It’s a chance to acquire prized sports memorabilia while contributing to a noble cause.

Some of the auction highlights include two original paintings by renowned sports artists, each estimated between $10,000 to $15,000. Additionally, collectors can look forward to rare items such as signed baseballs, vintage cards, jerseys, and exclusive boxes from various sports categories. The auction will also feature artworks capturing iconic sports figures like LeBron James and unique pieces signed by famous athletes like Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, and more.

The proceeds from this charity auction will benefit three important Cleveland area charities, namely the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Inc., and The City Mission. These organizations play a crucial role in providing aid and support to individuals facing homelessness and food insecurity in the local community. By participating in the auction, attendees can make a meaningful contribution to these causes and help create a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

The Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Inc., focuses on ensuring that all individuals in the Cleveland area have access to nutritious food. Their mission is to bridge the meal gap and provide essential resources to empower those affected by hunger. Through educational initiatives and community support, they strive to make a difference in the lives of those struggling with food insecurity.

On the other hand, The City Mission is dedicated to helping individuals in crisis, including men, women, and children, overcome homelessness. By offering tailored programs and comprehensive services, they aim to empower residents to build stable and independent futures. The City Mission’s commitment to assisting those in need aligns perfectly with the spirit of giving at the NSCC charity auction.

As the NSCC expresses gratitude for the generous support received, they emphasize the importance of coming together as a community to make a positive impact. By attending the 2024 National Sports Collectors Convention and participating in the charity auction, sports enthusiasts can showcase their passion for collectibles while supporting significant causes that benefit the local Cleveland community. It’s a wonderful opportunity to combine a love for sports memorabilia with a commitment to philanthropy, all under one roof. Join the NSCC in making a difference and celebrating the spirit of giving in the world of sports collectibles.
