Fanatics Collect Unveils New Buy Now Marketplace

Fanatics Collect is shaking up the collectibles industry with the exciting announcement of their latest innovation – the launch of a new Buy Now marketplace. This updated platform is not just a regular upgrade; it comes with a new fee structure designed to help sellers maximize their earnings while offering buyers a more streamlined purchasing experience.

The standout feature of this new fee structure is the incredibly low 6% fee applicable to listings sold for less than $120. Compared to the industry standard, this rate is impressively competitive, giving sellers a significant edge in terms of profitability. By eliminating the previous 20% buyer’s premium and bonus commission fees, Fanatics Collect ensures that sellers can make more money from their sales.

For sellers, the benefits are clear – they will now earn the same amount on sales of $120 or more as they did previously, while sales under $119.99 will now bring in up to 94% of the listing price. This drastic increase in potential earnings is a game-changer, with all existing listings seamlessly transitioning to the new fee structure without any need for price adjustments.

Not stopping there, the Buy Now marketplace has been overhauled to enhance the discoverability of cards, reduce listing times, and simplify fees based on valuable input from collectors and sellers. The removal of the 20% buyer’s premium and bonus commission is not just about cutting costs; it’s about fostering a marketplace where sellers can price their items more competitively, ultimately benefiting buyers with a wider range of high-quality options.

To ensure fairness and competitiveness, listings priced more than 20% above fair market value will have a 15% seller’s fee instead of the standard 6%. A significant improvement for sellers is the elimination of the $3 minimum fee for Buy Now sales, enabling them to list items for as little as 50 cents while still enjoying the benefits of the platform.

Beyond just fees, the new Buy Now marketplace streamlines the transaction process for both sellers and buyers. With instant payment processing through the Fanatics Collect app, sellers can receive their funds promptly, allowing buyers to swiftly add coveted items to their collections.

Sellers who may be hesitant about the new fee structure have the option to delist their items at any time. Assistance is readily available through sales representatives or the knowledgeable Collector Experience team, ensuring a smooth transition for all users.

The launch of the Buy Now marketplace is a pivotal moment in the Fanatics Collect journey, signaling a commitment to enhancing the overall experience for collectors. Whether you’re a seasoned seller or an avid collector, now is the time to explore the new marketplace and take advantage of the simplified fees to maximize your earnings with every sale.
