Jason Howarth, the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Athlete Relations at Panini America, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership. The goal of this collaboration is to deepen fan engagement with the sport by providing exclusive Panini products featuring PFL athletes and events.

Bryan Calka, the Chief Commercial Officer of the PFL, echoed Howarth’s excitement, praising Panini America’s industry-leading position in the world of collectibles. Calka underlined the PFL’s commitment to delivering high-value experiences to MMA fans worldwide, a commitment that is set to be amplified through the partnership with Panini.

One of the most innovative aspects of this collaboration is the introduction of digital trading card collectibles, including Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). The timing of this partnership is significant as the PFL gears up to launch the second half of its 2024 Global Season. The upcoming events, set to kick off at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, will feature athletes from six weight classes vying for playoff berths and the coveted title of PFL World Champion, along with a hefty $1 million prize pool.
